CHECK IN TIME: 14.00 onwards
ROOM FACILITIES: All rooms are en-suite with colour television, radio alarm, CD player, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.
BATH OR SHOWER: Most rooms have a bath with shower. Some rooms have a bath only. A few rooms have a walk in shower only. If you have a preference for bath or shower, please make this known when making your booking, as we may not be able to guarantee your request on arrival.
GROUND FLOOR ROOMS: are available. Kindly note Bourne Hall does not have a lift. Please indicate if you require ground floor accommodation when making your booking. All our main facilities – reception, restaurant, bar, guest lounge, public toilets – are on the ground floor. Our holistic suite, games room and pool house are accessed by steps.
CHILDREN: Children will now be welcomed to the hotel over the age of 8 years old. This is on the basis that children are under close supervision of parents/guardians at all times and that the children are very well behaved. Any complaints received by other guests will result in the entire family/party being asked to leave the hotel.
AIR-CONDITIONING: The Hermitage Restaurant is air-conditioned. Our bedrooms are not air-conditioned.
SMOKING POLICY: Please note that the hotel is strictly non-smoking. This includes all bedrooms and public areas. A minimum charge of £100 may be applied if this policy is contravened. This is for fire regulations.

ROOM SERVICE: is available between 08.00 and 23.00
LEISURE FACILITIES: Use of the swimming pools, Sauna and Jacuzzi are included in the room tariff. Please note that towels for swimming are supplied from reception. (Fitness suite anticipated completion late June early July 2008)
BEAUTY TREATMENTS/THERAPIES: We are delighted to offer the following therapies to help you relax and unwind during your stay: Aromatherapy Massage, Full Body Massage, Back and Shoulder Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Reiki Healing, Swedish Massage, Thermal Auricular Therapy, Manicure & Pedicure, Waxing. Please ask for details at reception.
Kindly note: Any therapies booked and not taken will be charged in full to guest account.
PARKING: Free parking in the hotel grounds, subject to space and availability. Vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
PETS: We regret we do not accept pets except guide dogs and hearing dogs for the deaf (with prior consent).
FERRY INCLUSIVE PRICES: All Ferry inclusive rates are either with WightLink or Red Funnel, travelling between Portsmouth/Fishbourne, Southampton/Cowes or Lymington/Yarmouth.
PEAK TIMES:15th July to 15th September. Special rates will apply at Christmas and New Year (available on request).
DEPOSIT: A deposit the equivalent of the first night’s stay is required to secure all bookings.
DEPARTURE: We would be grateful if you would settle your account and vacate your room by 10.30. We accept most major credit & debit cards, cash and cheques (with seven days notice).
INSURANCE: To safeguard against cancellation charges and other unforeseen eventualities, we strongly recommend guests to take out holiday insurance. Cancellation charges will be made in the event of cancelled bookings.
CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply: More than 6 weeks before arrival – loss of deposit; 6-4 weeks before arrival – 30% of total cost; 4-2 weeks before arrival – 45% of total cost; less than 2 weeks before arrival – 60% of total cost; on or after the arrival date – 100% of total cost
